How to change name on RedNote?

To change your nickname on RedNote, follow these steps:

1. Go to Your Profile:

• Open the RedNote app.
• Tap the “我” icon in the bottom right corner to access your profile page.

2. Edit Your Profile:

• On your profile page, tap the “编辑资料” button located below your profile picture and username.

3. Change Your Nickname:

• In the “Edit Profile” section, find the “名字” field.
• Tap on it, delete the current nickname, and enter your new nickname.

4. Save the Changes:

• After entering your new nickname, tap the “保存” button (usually a checkmark in the top right corner) to confirm the changes.

1. Nickname Guidelines:

   • Your nickname must follow Xiaohongshu’s rules, such as length restrictions and avoiding inappropriate content.
   • Please set 2-24 characters, excluding invalid characters such as @<>/.
   • If your desired nickname is already taken, try a unique variation.

2. Change Frequency:

   • Xiaohongshu may limit how often you can change your nickname, so choose carefully.
   • The name can only be changed once within 7 days.
